On December 26, 258 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops were recorded on the front line.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported<\/a> this.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched one missile and 65 airstrikes, using one missile and dropping 174 guided bombs. The occupiers also carried out over 3,000 attacks, including 115 from multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 3,624 kamikaze drones. Kharkiv and settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions were targeted by airstrikes.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In response, Ukrainian missile forces and artillery struck two enemy manpower and equipment concentrations, as well as one other important target. The Russian army suffered 1,240 casualties in one day. Five tanks, 19 armored combat vehicles, 33 artillery systems, 205 drones, 158 vehicles, and a heavy flamethrower system were destroyed.<\/p>\n

The most intense fighting continued in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian defenders stopped 63 enemy assaults. Active attacks were also recorded in the Liman, Konstantinovsk, Hulyai-Polye, and Aleksandrivske sectors. The enemy launched three attacks in the Severo-Slobozhanske and Kursk sectors, and no combat clashes were recorded in the Prydniprovsk sector.<\/p>\n

The General Staff emphasized that Ukrainian troops continue to inflict significant losses on the occupiers, undermining their offensive potential both on the front lines and in the rear. <\/p>\n
