The authorities, aided by professional ZEbotva and the merely incompetent ZEkta, put on full display their anti-crisis skills during the NABU searches at the committees of the Verkhovna Rada and the offices of the \u201cServant of the People\u201d party in the Parkovy business centre\u2014the former helipad of Yanukovych.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We witnessed everything that the collective green brain could produce\u2014and, as usual, what it produced was complete primitiveness.<\/p>\n

First, we were told that Zelenskyy is a victim of a conspiracy involving Moscow, Trump, and NABU. And, of course, the opposition. According to them, look! Zelenskyy goes to negotiations, and then there\u2019s Russian shelling and NABU searches\u2014clearly on Trump\u2019s orders!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s very easy to debunk. You know, if a married woman is caught in someone else\u2019s bed, it\u2019s not because there\u2019s a conspiracy involving Puylo, Trump, and NABU; it\u2019s because there\u2019s less need to jump on\u2026 beds. If NABU is pursuing large-scale corruption cases, it\u2019s not because Zelenskyy is going to negotiations\u2014it\u2019s because a criminal investigation is underway and there are grounds for it.<\/p>\n

The fact that Zelenskyy is travelling somewhere is not proof\u2014he has been on the move constantly lately. Why should the anti-corruption agencies stop working in the meantime? Yes, the people protest\u2014but cardboard protests prove nothing.<\/p>\n

The opposition\u2019s reproaches are generally pathetic. ZEbotva accuses them, saying the opposition thinks only in terms of elections. And the government thinks only in terms of elections. This is precisely why dirty provocations against deputies Siumar and Kniazhytsky occurred; this is why Poroshenko is under sanctions; and this is precisely why opposition TV channels were cut off from cable without explanation or documentary justification.<\/p>\n\t\t
