On Sunday, December 28, Russian troops again launched artillery fire on the Kherson thermal power plant. As a result of the attack, one of the company’s employees was injured and hospitalized.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The report notes that the Kherson thermal power plant was shelled during the day. As a result of the attack, the plant suffered significant damage.<\/p>\n

The injured employee of the company was taken to the hospital. She is currently receiving the necessary medical care.<\/p>\n

Work is ongoing at the facility to eliminate the consequences of the shelling.<\/p>\n

The Kherson thermal power plant was the only source of heat for tens of thousands of apartments in the city. Russian troops attack the plant almost daily.<\/p>\n

“We are coordinating our actions with local authorities to ensure backup methods of heat supply to city residents,” said Serhiy Koretsky, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

It is also reported that on December 27, Russia attacked gas and energy infrastructure<\/a> . The strikes were carried out by Shahed drones on Naftogaz Group’s production facilities and thermal power plants.<\/p>\n

By the way, on the night of December 28, Russian troops carried out another attack on Ukraine<\/a> using strike drones.<\/p>\n
