The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published<\/a> operational information as of 8 a.m. on December 29, 2025 regarding the Russian invasion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In total, 209 combat clashes<\/strong> were recorded over the past 24 hours. Over the past 24 hours, the artillery of the Defense Forces hit two areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 50 air strikes, dropping 128 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out 3,436 attacks, including 89 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 4,412 kamikaze drones to strike. The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, on the settlements of Pidhavrilivka, Pokrovske, Havrilivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region; Varvarivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Rizdvyanka, Vozdvizhivka, Zaliznychne, Lyubitske in the Zaporizhia region.<\/p>\n

Five enemy attacks took place in the North-Slobozhansk<\/strong> and Kursk<\/strong> directions over the past day. The enemy carried out two air strikes, dropping four guided bombs, and carried out 103 shellings, including one from a multiple launch rocket system.<\/p>\n

In the South Slobozhansk<\/strong> direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders seven times near the settlements of Starytsia, Prylipka and towards Hryhorivka and Izbitsky.<\/p>\n

Three clashes took place in the Kupyansk<\/strong> direction yesterday. Our defenders stopped the enemy’s assault actions in the direction of Kupyansk, Pishchane, and Malaya Shapkivka.<\/p>\n

In the Lyman<\/strong> direction, the enemy attacked 14 times, trying to penetrate our defenses near the settlements of Novoselivka, Zarichne, Myrne and towards the settlements of Lyman, Zakitne, Druzhelyubivka, Dibrova, Ozerne, and Drobysheve.<\/p>\n

In the Slavyansk<\/strong> direction, the Defense Forces stopped four offensive actions of the invaders in the area of Serebryanka.<\/p>\n

In the Kramatorsk<\/strong> direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled an enemy attack in the Minkivka area.<\/p>\n

In the Kostyantynivka<\/strong> direction, the enemy carried out 26 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Rusyn Yar, Yablunivka, Kleban-Byk and towards Sofiivka, Stepanivka, and Berestka.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsky<\/strong> direction, our defenders stopped 52 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnograd, Novoekonomichne, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiya and towards the settlements of Novopavlivka, Novye Shakhove, Rodynske, Serhiivka, Vilne.<\/p>\n

In the Oleksandrivka<\/strong> direction, the enemy yesterday carried out 22 attacks near the settlements of Yalta, Vyshneve, Rybne, Oleksandrograd and towards the settlements of Iskra, Khoroshe, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Ivanivka, Sosnivka.<\/p>\n

In the Hulyaipol<\/strong> direction, our defenders stopped 19 enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Hulyaipol, Solodke, Dorozhnyanka, Bilogirya, and towards Varvarivka.<\/p>\n

In the Orikhiv<\/strong> direction, Ukrainian units stopped nine attacks by the invaders on the positions of our troops in the areas of the settlements of Shcherbaki, Mala Tokmachka, Stepove, Plavnia and towards Novoandriivka and Prymorske.<\/p>\n

In the Dnieper<\/strong> direction, the enemy made three unsuccessful attempts to approach the positions of Ukrainian units.<\/p>\n

No signs of the formation of offensive groups of the aggressor were detected in the Volyn<\/strong> and Polissya<\/strong> directions.<\/p>\n

Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy’s offensive potential in the rear.<\/p>\n

By the way, the losses of the Russian invaders over the past day amounted to 1,180 people<\/a> . Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized three tanks, 6 armored combat vehicles, 13 artillery systems, 305 unmanned aerial vehicles, 113 units of automotive equipment and a unit of special equipment of the invaders.<\/p>\n
