Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has ordered his troops to continue their offensive in the Zaporizhia region and move towards Zaporizhia, despite talk of peace talks.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported<\/a> by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Russian agency Interfax.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Putin, during a meeting on the war against Ukraine, said that Russian troops were supposedly fulfilling their assigned tasks in the Zaporizhia direction. He also claimed that Ukrainian forces had been preparing to defend the region for “many years.”<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The commander of the Russian group “Dnipro” Mikhail Teplinsky stated that Russian units were allegedly 15 kilometers from the southern outskirts of Zaporizhia. In response, Putin instructed to continue the offensive together with the group “Vostok” with the aim of “liberating Zaporizhia.”<\/p>\n

In turn, the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov announced the alleged capture of the village of Lukyanivske and “street fighting” in the city of Orekhov.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Ukrainian defenders continue to hold positions in Huliaipol despite the fact that the city is completely in the “gray zone”.<\/a><\/p>\n
