On New Year’s Eve, light snow will fall on the territory of Ukraine and severe frosts will hit – the air temperature will drop to -13\u00b0C in some places.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported<\/span><\/a> by the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to meteorologists, there will be light snow tomorrow, December 31. At night, the thermometer will reach -9\u00b0C, in the Carpathians – -13\u00b0C, during the day it will be warmer – from -2\u00b0C to -7\u00b0C. The weather will be accompanied by gusts of wind at a speed of 15-20 m\/s.<\/span><\/p>\n

No significant precipitation is expected on the first day of the New Year, only light snow will fall in the western regions. The temperature at night will range from -8\u00b0C to -13\u00b0C, and during the day from -5\u00b0C to -10\u00b0C. Only in the South will thermometers show the \u201cplus\u201d mark \u2014 the temperature will be within the range of -4\u00b0C\u2026+1\u00b0C.<\/span><\/p>\n

On January 2, light snow is forecast in Transcarpathia and the mountains, and no precipitation in the rest of the regions. Severe frost will hit the eastern and northeastern regions at night – -11\u00b0C\u2026-16\u00b0C is forecast, and in the rest of the territory – -8\u00b0C\u2026-13\u00b0C. It will be warmer in Ukraine during the day: the temperature will range from -3\u00b0C to +6\u00b0C.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among other things, the Ukrhydrometeorological Center warned of possible ice on the roads.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was previously reported that a cold snap is expected in Ukraine again<\/a> – according to forecasts, the air temperature at night will drop to -16\u00b0C.<\/p>\n
