Actually, a bureaucrat\u2019s dream budget.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"462\" data-end=\"797\">\u2022 And of course, the SBU spent the year systematically turning \u201cLapti\u201d drones (those charmingly primitive Russian DIY flying slippers) into scrap metal on an industrial scale. The Central Subdivision \u201cA\u201d consistently ranks among the top three unmanned units in the defense forces \u2014 basically, the nightmare of every Russian tinkerer.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"799\" data-end=\"1134\">As you can see, the occupiers have been stuffed with \u201cgifts\u201d up to their ears \u2014 and yet they still can\u2019t get enough.\u00a0\u201cAt this moment, the entire Ramenskoye suburb and surrounding areas\u2014home to an estimated 100,000 to 600,000 Lapti drones\u2014are plunged into blackout, officially \u2018for unknown technical reasons,\u2019 but in reality, after every single drone was shot down.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"317\" data-end=\"368\">\u0410\u043b\u044c\u0442\u0435\u0440\u043d\u0430\u0442\u0438\u0432\u0430 \u0437 \u0431\u0456\u043b\u044c\u0448 \u0433\u043e\u0441\u0442\u0440\u0438\u043c, \u0441\u0430\u0440\u043a\u0430\u0441\u0442\u0438\u0447\u043d\u0438\u043c \u0442\u043e\u043d\u043e\u043c:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"370\" data-end=\"616\"><strong data-start=\"370\" data-end=\"614\">\u201cRight now, the entire Ramenskoye suburb and its surroundings\u2014where some 100,000 to 600,000 Lapti drones once roamed\u2014sit in total blackout, supposedly \u2018due to technical issues,\u2019 but really, because every last drone was shot out of the sky.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t<aside class=\"shortcode-also\" data-title=\"Read also\" data-right>\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/the-trough-burned-down-how-the-sbu-got-to-the-russian-shadow-fleet\/\">A Bad Day at the Trough: The SBU and the Sudden Collapse of Russia\u2019s Shadow Fleet<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n\n<p data-start=\"115\" data-end=\"380\">Overall, in 2025, Malyuk&#8217;s SBU played a system-forming role within the Defense Forces and became one of the key instruments of Russia&#8217;s strategic deterrence. Moreover, the SBU acted not only as a special service but also as an institution of strategic importance.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"382\" data-end=\"899\">The efforts of its units\u2014at sea and on land, at the front and deep behind enemy lines, against military equipment and the occupier\u2019s economic potential\u2014have become one of the defining arguments in Ukraine\u2019s work with its allies. By convincing them (and especially such a difficult partner as the USA) that cooperation with Ukraine is both possible and necessary, we gain the strength and inspiration to fight fiercely against Putin&#8217;s army, no matter its size or how many trillions of rubles he invests in the &#8220;SVO.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"901\" data-end=\"1154\">So, the mountain of gifts under their Christmas tree, &#8220;from the SBU, with the most sincere wishes,&#8221; was among the largest. (And who can doubt that these wishes are sincere?
