{"id":1339118,"date":"2025-12-31T20:05:40","date_gmt":"2025-12-31T18:05:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/independent-experts-elected-to-energoatom-supervisory-board-svyridenko-names-names\/"},"modified":"2025-12-31T20:05:40","modified_gmt":"2025-12-31T18:05:40","slug":"independent-experts-elected-to-energoatom-supervisory-board-svyridenko-names-names","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/independent-experts-elected-to-energoatom-supervisory-board-svyridenko-names-names\/","title":{"rendered":"Independent experts elected to Energoatom Supervisory Board: Svyridenko names names"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Today, December 31, the Nomination Committee approved the independent members of the new Supervisory Board of Energoatom.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/svyrydenkoy\/1286\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was announced<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">by Prime Minister Yulia Svirydenko.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She explained that the Supervisory Board includes representatives of the Government and independent observers &#8211; the EU, EBRD, IFC, and the Business Ombudsman.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the official, the three state representatives will be determined in January, and the names of the independent members are already known:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rumina Velshi is an international expert in nuclear safety and regulatory oversight with over 40 years of experience in the industry: she headed the Canadian Nuclear Regulator, the IAEA Safety Standards Commission, and the Association of International Nuclear Regulators.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Laura Garbenchute-Bakiene is a finance, audit and risk management specialist in energy and infrastructure. Over 25 years of experience, she has held leadership roles at PwC (USA, Ukraine, Lithuania), worked with audit and risk at strategic energy facilities, including Ignalina NPP.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Patrick Fragman is an engineer and international executive in the nuclear and energy industries. He has over 30 years of experience. He is the former President and CEO of Westinghouse Electric Company.<\/span><\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Brice Bouillon is an energy regulation and corporate governance lawyer.
