Despite criticism of insufficient pressure, over the past year the Kremlin has lost ground in Syria, Central Asia, and the Caucasus. Thus, the Venezuelan leader and his wife were charged with conspiracy with the purpose of \u201cnarco-terrorism\u201d and with the purpose of \u201c <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/maduro-ta-yoho-druzhyni-vysunuly-zvynuvachennia-v-narkoteroryzmi\/\">importing cocaine<\/a> .\u201d<\/p>\n<p> Instead, Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez publicly called on the United States to <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/my-nikoly-ne-stanemo-koloniieiu-vitseprezydent-venesuely-zaklykala-ssha-zvilnyty-maduro\/\">release Nicolas Maduro and his wife<\/a> .
