Russian forces have used a Shahed drone equipped with a man-portable anti-aircraft missile system (MANPADS) for the first time. This poses a new threat to Ukrainian aviation and requires increased caution during flights.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> military specialist Serhiy Flesh.<\/p>\n

According to him, on January 4, a Shahed drone with MANPADS on board was first recorded.<\/p>\n

“The enemy continues to look for ways to destroy our aircraft. Today, for the first time, we encountered a Shahed, which has a MANPADS installed on board. The Shahed is equipped with a camera and a radio modem. The missile is launched by a drone pilot who controls it from the territory of the Russian Federation,” said Sergey Flesh. <\/p>\n
