In Dnipro, after a drone attack on an oil extraction plant, hundreds of tons of sand were poured onto the roads near the plant to prevent oil from entering the river.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the mayor of Dnipro, Borys Filatov.<\/p>\n

According to him, the liquidation of the consequences of the impact is ongoing on the embankment. Public utilities and heavy special equipment are working on the site. <\/p>\n

“The liquidation of the consequences is ongoing on the embankment near the destroyed plant. The roads are covered with a mixture of oil and sand. Several hundred tons of it were poured there – so that the oil does not get into the river and cause an environmental disaster,” Filatov wrote.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The mayor noted that this section is currently only accessible to special equipment. According to him, “it is simply impossible to drive there other than by dump truck.”<\/p>\n

In this regard, traffic on the embankment will be changed for at least a few days. Filatov called on city residents to treat the restrictions with understanding, as the work to eliminate the consequences of the Russian strike will require significant efforts.<\/p>\n

Earlier it was reported that Russia attacked the Dnieper with drones, as a result of which the plant of the American company Bunge was damaged<\/a> . The strike spilled 300 tons of oil onto the city roads, which complicated the movement of traffic.<\/p>\n
