Petro and Maryna Poroshenko participated in the Divine Liturgy at St. Michael’s Cathedral on the feast of the Epiphany. Following the service, Poroshenko congratulated Ukrainians on the seventh anniversary of the Tomos of Autocephaly of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine and the Baptism of the Theotokos.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“I congratulate everyone on this double holiday \u2013 the bright feast of Epiphany, the Feast of the Theophany, and the seventh anniversary of the Tomos. Thank you, Ukrainians, for your prayer, patience, and inner strength, without which the Tomos might not have been granted,” Petro Poroshenko wrote on social media. It was on January 6, 2019, that Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew presented the Tomos of Autocephaly to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. <\/p>\n
