A warning of dangerous meteorological phenomena has been issued in Ukraine. On Wednesday, January 7, the weather in a number of regions may complicate transport and the work of public utilities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.<\/p>\n

According to weather forecasters, significant snow is expected in Transcarpathia and Precarpathia. Fog with visibility of 300-500 meters is forecast in Odessa, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Chernihiv and Poltava regions.<\/p>\n

Ice will form on the roads of the western and northern regions, as well as in the Vinnytsia region. Forecasters have declared the first level of danger – yellow. <\/p>\n

Also, due to precipitation and temperature changes, Ukrainian roads have turned into solid ice – traffic in some regions is significantly complicated. Drivers complain that it is dangerous to travel on the roads.<\/p>\n

According to weather forecasters, precipitation is expected throughout the country today. Snowfall is forecast in the western regions, where the temperature will drop below zero. The rest of Ukraine will see rain and sleet, which increases the risk of ice formation. <\/p>\n
