A southern cyclone will arrive in Ukraine on January 8, bringing precipitation to almost the entire territory of the country and sharp temperature contrasts between regions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported<\/a> by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko.<\/p>\n

According to its forecast, snow is expected in western Ukraine, wet snow in the north and in Vinnytsia region, and rain in most other territories. Precipitation will be heavy in some places.<\/p>\n

Forecasters are also warning of sleet, ice, and sleet. Winds will increase across the country, reaching strong gusts in places.<\/p>\n

The air temperature will vary significantly depending on the region. In the west, the thermometer will drop to -3…-7 degrees, in the north – from -2 to +3, in the central regions – from -2 to +6, in the east – +3…+6, and in the south the air will warm up to +7…+14 degrees. <\/p>\n

In Kyiv on January 8, wet snow with rain is expected, precipitation may be heavy. A strong northeast wind is also forecast. At night, the temperature will drop to -4 degrees, during the day it will fluctuate within -1\u2026+1.<\/p>\n

Forecasters warn that such atmospheric processes can affect people’s well-being, complicate the work of public utilities and the situation on the roads. After January 9, a cold snap is expected in Ukraine. <\/p>\n
