The prolonged and massive attack, which began mid-day on January 7, has resulted in power outages.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Power outages are reported in Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Kamianske, and Zaporizhzhia. According to the Ministry of Energy, the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions are almost completely without power. The subway has stopped operating. Central power is also out at medical facilities, which are currently operating on generators. Restoration times are unknown. Of course, repairs will begin as soon as the air threat passes, but the attack on the region was still ongoing at the time of publication. In Zaporizhzhia, police will assume the warning function.
