Russia continued shelling of energy infrastructure and civilian objects in Ukraine during the day, and a new massive strike is possible at night.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was stated by<\/a> President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to Zelensky, the government and all services received reports throughout the day about the consequences of Russian strikes, the elimination of which continues around the clock.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The most difficult situation has developed in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions after massive attacks by the Russian Federation on energy infrastructure. In some areas, serious problems with electricity supply have arisen.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The President reported that all necessary resources have been deployed for restoration. Repair crews, utility services, the State Emergency Service, and energy workers are working without interruption.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In Zaporizhia region, power supply was partially restored during the day according to schedule. Restoration work is ongoing in Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Nikopol, Pavlohrad and other communities of Dnipropetrovsk region.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

At the same time, Zelenskyy stressed that Russian troops had launched new strikes throughout the day. The attacks were directed at both the energy sector and the civilian sector. In Kryvyi Rih, residential buildings were hit.<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The president separately warned of the high probability of new massive shelling at night. He urged citizens to pay close attention to air raid sirens over the next two days and to take shelter immediately.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Head of State instructed the government to strengthen support for local authorities and all services working to eliminate the consequences of Russian shelling.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As a reminder, as a result of a massive Russian drone attack on the energy infrastructure of the Zaporizhia region, the largest metallurgical plant in Ukraine was again left without electricity and suspended operations.<\/a><\/p>\n
