As a result of massive Russian shelling on the night of January 9, the water supply and heating in the building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine were cut off.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by people’s deputies Yaroslav Zheleznyak<\/a> and Daniil Getmantsev<\/a> .<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Zheleznyak noted that there is currently no heat or water in the parliament building, particularly in the committee rooms, but the electricity supply is still intact.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Getmantsev confirmed this information and emphasized that the deputies’ working conditions are consistent with those of those who house Ukrainians after an enemy attack. Despite the difficulties, parliament continues its work.<\/p>\n

“We’re here and working. Everything’s just like everyone else. We’re holding up,” he noted. <\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of January 9, the Lviv region suffered a missile strike<\/a> , which damaged a critical infrastructure facility. Following the attack, fires and gas outages were reported in some areas of the region. The details of the Oreshnik missile’s use are being clarified.<\/p>\n
