The European Solidarity faction appealed to NABU Director Kryvonos, demanding an investigation into who might be interested in extending the transit of Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline. As is well known, EU MPs have long registered bills to halt Russian transit, which brings billions of dollars to the aggressor state to finance its war against Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Artur Gerasimov, co-chair of the European Solidarity faction, reminded the audience at a briefing that oil prices are one of the aggressor country’s most vulnerable points.<\/p>\n

“Therefore, one effective way to force Russia to peace is to divest its money from energy exports. Look at what the US is doing. They’ve imposed sanctions on Rosneft and Lukoil. They’re countering Russia’s shadow fleet of tankers transporting this oil. Furthermore, a bipartisan bill has been drafted to impose secondary sanctions on those who buy or plan to buy Russian oil,” Gerasimov noted.<\/p>\n

“Look at what’s happening in Venezuela and Iran. The European Union launched a large-scale REPowerEU program aimed at reducing dependence on Russian energy, and it’s already yielded results. This dependence has been significantly reduced,” Gerasimov notes.<\/p>\n

“What should Ukraine do? Of course, it should synchronize its efforts and actions with its allies. Instead, the opposite is happening. The Druzhba pipeline, which transits Russian oil, has still not been shut down,” the MP fumed. He noted that Russia earns an estimated $7 billion annually from transit through Ukrainian territory and spends it on martyrs and missiles, which it uses to attack Ukrainian cities and towns.<\/p>\n

“A year ago, European Solidarity registered bills 12380<\/a> and 12381<\/a> to ban the transit of Russian oil through Ukrainian territory. Because we have no right to demand sanctions from our partners, and Ukraine is currently allowing Russia to earn billions of dollars a year,” Gerasimov asserts.<\/p>\n

“But why haven’t they been considered by parliament for almost a year? Furthermore, a number of companies regularly receive gasoline and diesel from Hungary and Slovakia. And there are reasonable suspicions that gasoline and diesel are produced from Russian oil. And this is precisely the reason why the Druzhba pipeline, which generates profits for Russia, hasn’t been closed. After the publication of the Mindich tapes, the phrase “two-room apartment to Moscow” may, in our opinion, be connected to this. But this is already a corruption scheme,” the MP suggests. <\/p>\n

“That’s why European Solidarity has prepared an appeal to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau. We appeal to Mr. Krivonos personally and to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, demanding that they pay attention to this and urgently identify and thoroughly investigate the business activities of all entities resident in Ukraine involved in the transit of Russian oil through Ukrainian territory for possible corruption,” explained the co-chair of Euroradio.<\/p>\n

“Also, identify and verify the parties to agreements, in particular Ukrainian residents, regarding the supply of petroleum products, gasoline, diesel, etc., produced from Russian oil and delivered to Ukraine, the volumes of their purchases for 2025 and 2026, both completed and planned, as well as the prices, volumes, and payment methods used for the crimes. If signs of corruption are discovered, we urge you to take comprehensive measures, initiate criminal proceedings, and bring those responsible to justice,” Gerasimov emphasized.<\/p>\n

“Corruption in Ukraine cannot kill Ukrainian soldiers or Ukrainian civilians when martyrs and Russian missiles are paid for with money Russia earns thanks to the Ukrainian authorities,” Gerasimov is convinced. <\/p>\n
