The Kremlin’s use of the Oreshnik missile system in recent attacks on Ukrainian territory is purely psychological in nature and does not pursue real military goals. Such strikes resemble a “meteor shower” that looks threatening but does not have significant destructive consequences.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This opinion was expressed<\/a> on the air of “Pryamoy” by aviation expert Kostyantyn Kryvolap, analyzing the consequences of strikes on facilities in the Lviv region and comparing them with previous shelling of the Dnipro.<\/p>\n

According to him, such weapons are significantly inferior in destructive power to conventional missiles such as the Iskander-M or Kh-101.<\/p>\n

“This is a psychological weapon, it’s more like an IPSO. This is the target audience of this attack. These are not even Ukrainian cities or the Lviv region, but primarily Europeans,” Kryvolap emphasized.<\/p>\n
