In the Kyiv region, nearly 98,000 homes remain without power due to severe weather and enemy attacks. The worst situation is in the Bucha, Obukhiv, and Fastiv districts.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnik, reported this on Telegram.<\/p>\n

According to him, power engineers are continuing emergency recovery operations throughout the region.<\/p>\n

A separate power supply schedule is in effect in the Boryspil and Brovary communities due to damage to energy infrastructure caused by enemy strikes. The rest of the region is subject to two power outage schedules, with the exception of emergency areas.<\/p>\n

The main cause of the power outages, as the head of the OVA noted, remains the effects of severe weather conditions. As of this morning, families in 212 large and small towns are without power.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, over the past 24 hours, power workers managed to restore power to nearly 140,000 customers, and reconnected 40 power lines overnight. 154 repair crews have been deployed to address the incidents, working around the clock in an enhanced mode.<\/p>\n

Kalashnik also reported that the situation on the region’s roads remains under control. 447 pieces of specialized equipment are being deployed to clear snow from Kyiv region roads, and no significant traffic disruptions have been reported.<\/p>\n

As is known, critical infrastructure in Kyiv has been damaged following a massive combined attack by the enemy. Nearly 6,000 apartment buildings are without heat<\/a> , and water supply interruptions are also being reported in the city.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of January 9, Kyiv was subjected to a massive combined attack by enemy drones<\/a> , damaging residential buildings and infrastructure in several districts of the city.
