I&#8217;ll interrupt! \u2013 Iryna Gerashchenko released an audio recording of inappropriate behavior by Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Utka."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Iryna Gerashchenko, co-chair of the European Solidarity faction, released an audio transcript of a meeting of the interdepartmental group on Ukraine&#8217;s accession to the EU, during which Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Taras Kachka, instead of answering questions, interrupted a member of parliament and became downright rude.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> &#8220;Recently, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Taras Kachka presented the National Program for Adapting Ukrainian Legislation to EU Law. Not a single European law has been adopted without the EU&#8217;s vote. The government has set ambitious goals to fulfill all EU obligations by 2027 and set a date for joining the peace agreement. I asked Kachka how realistic this is and how he would comment on Ukraine&#8217;s potential loss of $4 billion from failing to fulfill its obligations under the Ukraine Facility,&#8221; Iryna Herashchenko recalled. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video src=\"https:\/\/eurosolidarity.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/6069420914759560111.mp4\" controls=\"controls\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/video><\/figure>\n<p> &#8220;I was shocked by the Deputy Prime Minister&#8217;s statement that the European Commission&#8217;s reports are advisory, not mandatory, for Ukraine. But despite the EU&#8217;s commitment to constructive and substantive dialogue, communication has failed. Superiority, a lack of political culture, and disrespect for the opposition\u2014all these are the consequences of a warm bath, a marathon, and authoritarian tendencies that are unacceptable in a country that is a candidate for EU membership,&#8221; the faction co-chair wrote. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-99009\" src=\"https:\/\/eurosolidarity.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/img_6238-e1768042779967-1024x489.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p> Earlier, Iryna Gerashchenko reported that Taras Kachka called the information about Ukraine&#8217;s shortfall of $4 billion &#8220;a fabrication of Telegram channels&#8221;: &#8220;It&#8217;s surprising that the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration doesn&#8217;t know that this isn&#8217;t about social media posts, but <a href=\"https:\/\/rrr4u.org\/analytics\/monitoryng-vykonannya-programy-mvf-ta-dopomogy-yes-gruden-2025\/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAYnJpZBExMVdyOFhwWVl0NzMyMUZxRHNydGMGYXBwX2lkEDIyMjAzOTE3ODgyMDA4OTIAAR6TrH90DobKf-ObUEc8yKaMRxurIn8xxCWbJOv-G1sRNmjTzxEYTdimtZSI_A_aem_I6216eb3ZRG2dA3ZGyIagA\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">an official report on Ukraine&#8217;s failure to fulfill its obligations<\/a> .&#8221;<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;I tried to point out to Mr. Kachka that I&#8217;m well-versed in what the Verkhovna Rada is doing and not doing. Specifically, at the last plenary session, due to the absence of &#8216;servants,&#8217; we didn&#8217;t pass the housing policy bill. But it was no use,&#8221; the faction co-chair wrote.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze and I tried to find out the government&#8217;s position on the &#8216;Fundamentals&#8217; cluster and how the authorities plan to implement the European Commission&#8217;s enlargement report. The Deputy Prime Minister responded that these reports are advisory, not legal.
