In Ivano-Frankivsk region, heavy snowfall has caused large-scale snowdrifts on roads. In some areas, the height of the snow cover sometimes exceeds the height of an adult, which complicates traffic.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department, Oleksiy Biloshitskyi.<\/p>\n

According to him, the most difficult situation is recorded on the R-24 Tatariv – Kamianets-Podilskyi highway. On some sections of the road, the snow cover has formed dense drifts, through which travel is possible only after the work of special equipment.<\/p>\n

The published materials show snow removal equipment paving a path in actual snow tunnels to restore communication between settlements.<\/p>\n

As of now, restrictions for freight transport continue to apply in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. In particular, traffic is restricted on the section of the R-24 Tatariv – Kamianets-Podilskyi road at km 134\u2013170.<\/p>\n

Active work is underway to clear the road for cars near the village of Semakivtsi. Workers of the relevant services are cutting through significant snow masses. <\/p>\n

Crews are providing support for snow removal equipment and assisting drivers who are stuck in snow traps. The situation is under constant monitoring, and road clearing work is ongoing.<\/p>\n
