The Manyava Waterfall in the village of Manyava in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, which reaches a height of about 18 meters, has completely frozen over.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A video of this unique<\/a> winter spectacle was recently published on an Instagram page that organizes tourist excursions to this location.<\/p>\n

Forecasters note that on January 11, in the Carpathian highlands, the temperature dropped to -13 to -18\u00b0C at night, and from -9 to -14\u00b0C during the day. It was these temperatures that caused the waterfall to freeze.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Manyava Waterfall is one of the highest in Ukraine. It is located in the Ukrainian Carpathians near the village of Manyava in the Bohorodchany district of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. Nearby is a famous architectural monument, the 17th-century Manyava Skete, and nearby is a healing spring. Above the Skete, the water cascades down the Manyavka River, forming a picturesque mountain waterfall that turns into a wall of ice in winter. <\/p>\n
