In the capital, approximately 85% of multi-story buildings that were previously without heat now have heat. All boiler plants in the city have also resumed operation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced by<\/a> Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister of Communities and Territories Development Oleksiy Kuleba.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to him, specialists are restarting the heating and distribution systems to ensure heat flows evenly to Kyiv residents’ apartments.<\/p>\n

Kuleba emphasized that the capital suffered one of the most massive attacks on its energy infrastructure precisely during a period of sharp deterioration in weather conditions.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“Power engineers, utility workers, and repair crews are working around the clock to restore heat to Kyiv residents’ homes as quickly as possible. The work continues, and the situation is being constantly monitored,” the minister noted.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of January 9, Kyiv was subjected to a massive combined attack by enemy UAVs<\/a> , which resulted in damage to residential buildings and infrastructure in several areas of the city.<\/p>\n

Incidentally, emergency power outages have been imposed in the capital<\/a> as a result of the large-scale attack. The situation is most severe on the left bank.<\/p>\n

As is known, critical infrastructure in Kyiv has been damaged following a massive combined attack by the enemy. Nearly 6,000 apartment buildings are without heat<\/a> , and water supply interruptions are also being reported in the city.<\/p>\n
