MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak announced the booking of public commentators and hosts of the YouTube channel “Icelandia” Volodymyr Petrov and Serhiy Ivanov, who publicly criticize opponents of the head of the President’s Office. According to him, both received a deferment from mobilization after being employed in structures related to state institutions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the MP, Petrov and Ivanov systematically publicly accuse critics of the head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, of evading service and allegedly making agreements on postponements.<\/p>\n

Zheleznyak reported that after the check, it turned out that both public commentators themselves have reservations. According to him, it was issued through structures that have connections with state authorities.<\/p>\n

“Both turned out to be booked. Moreover, in structures close to the authorities,” said Yaroslav Zheleznyak.<\/p>\n

The People’s Deputy noted that since July 31, Petrov has been working at the State Institution “National War Memorial Cemetery”, where, according to him, he deals with information policy issues.<\/p>\n

“Petrov has been an employee of the State Institution “National War Memorial Cemetery” since the summer, namely since July 31,” said Yaroslav Zheleznyak.<\/p>\n

According to the deputy, Ivanov has also been employed since July by a contractor for the state-owned enterprise Energoatom, which is linked to the government’s entourage.<\/p>\n

“Ivanov has been working for the contractor Energoatom since July,” said Yaroslav Zheleznyak.<\/p>\n

The MP also drew attention to the fact that the booking, according to him, was made after public events related to the attack on NABU and SAPO, which these commentators justified in the media. <\/p>\n
