In Kyiv and Kyiv region, some supermarkets temporarily stopped operating due to a power outage.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Novus chain stated<\/a> that due to the power outage, not all stores can operate as usual.<\/p>\n

As of 09:00 on January 13, 2026, about 17 Novus supermarkets are not operating in Kyiv and the region. In particular, these are stores in the capital at 49 Anna Akhmatova Street, 8 Petro Hryhorenko Avenue, 17-a and 18 Dniprovska Embankment, as well as at 48\/5 Zlatoustovska Street.<\/p>\n

The Silpo chain reported<\/a> that due to low temperatures and power outages, some supermarkets are temporarily closed.<\/p>\n

At the same time, ATB stated<\/a> that all stores in the chain are operating as normal and denied information about mass closures of supermarkets.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Russian troops again struck a DTEK thermal power plant, causing significant damage to the equipment.<\/a><\/p>\n
