The director of the A-95 consulting company, Serhiy Kuyun, warned of a possible increase in fuel prices by 2 hryvnias per liter in just a few weeks.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He wrote<\/span><\/a> about this<\/span> on social media.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, the price may not increase due to demand, two other factors will influence the increase in value.<\/span><\/p>\n

In particular, in the first weeks of 2026, oil prices rose by 10% – now one barrel costs $66, and diesel fuel has increased in price by 2.5 hryvnias per liter.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, the American and European currencies are an influential factor in calculating the price of oil. They have also become more expensive recently.<\/span><\/p>\n

“So, if nothing changes, in a couple of weeks we can get 2 UAH\/l guaranteed. Not very good, but nothing depends on us here,” the message says.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among other things, Kuyun assured that there will be no fuel shortage in Ukraine, as there are sufficient reserves – in December, more than 800 thousand tons of diesel fuel were imported. The expert emphasized that this is a record figure, despite the fact that consumption remains at the level of 550-600 thousand tons.<\/span><\/p>\n
