The Ukrainian military thwarted an attempt by the Russian army to breach the state border in another section – in the direction of the village of Dihtyarny in the Kharkiv region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced during a telethon by the spokesman for the State Border Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, enemy troops had already been spotted “probing” the border. However, having accumulated forces, the Russians made attempts to breach the border.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Earlier this week, in fact, for several days, having already accumulated some of his forces, small infantry groups, but in a sufficiently large number, tried to attack the positions of border units,” Demchenko explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

As he noted, during the fighting, Ukrainian fighters managed to eliminate 21 occupiers, and another 11 Russian soldiers were wounded.<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, the enemy is not giving up attempts to break through the border and expand the combat zone near neighboring settlements.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBut the enemy is unable to achieve results in this direction, thanks to the resilience and courage of every Ukrainian soldier and border guard, in particular,\u201d the spokesman for the State Border Service of Ukraine assured.<\/span><\/p>\n

He also added that Russian units have reduced their activity near the border village of Sotnytskyi Kozachok, where they previously managed to enter Ukrainian territory.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Russian soldiers broke through the border in Sumy region<\/a> and took out civilian residents of the village of Grabovske, Krasnopil community.<\/p>\n

As is known, Russian occupation troops are making attempts to “probe” the border<\/a> with Ukraine in the northern regions, in particular in several areas in the Sumy region.<\/p>\n
