In Kharkiv, an enemy strike on the Industrial District was recorded, resulting in casualties and significant damage to critical infrastructure. The city is clarifying the consequences of the shelling, and repair work may complicate further stabilization of heat and electricity.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced by<\/a> the mayor of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov.<\/p>\n

He noted that there were casualties as a result of the strike, and the enemy struck a critical infrastructure facility.<\/p>\n

According to Terekhov, the damage is very significant, and this is not a case of \u201cpatching up a little and moving on.\u201d He clarified that these are serious blows to the system that provides the city with heat and light.<\/p>\n

The mayor explained that with each such shelling, the centralized supply of heat and electricity becomes more and more difficult. He emphasized that the energy sector is currently in a very difficult state, the reserves are not infinite, and the load is at a peak.<\/p>\n

Terekhov also noted that with repeated hits, the system does not have time to fully recover, so any new hit can complicate stable serving and make recovery longer.<\/p>\n

The mayor thanked the heat workers, power engineers, utility workers, and rescuers of the State Emergency Service for their work under stress and risk. He added that Kharkiv is \u201cheld by its people,\u201d and the city continues to work.<\/p>\n

“We need to understand a simple thing: when critical infrastructure is hit again and again, the system does not have time to fully recover – it constantly works at the limit. With each such attack, the centralized supply of heat and electricity becomes more and more difficult,” Terekhov added.<\/p>\n

The head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleg Synegubov, clarified<\/a> that a 62-year-old man was injured and hospitalized. He also reported that the number of injured has increased to two, as doctors are providing assistance to a 59-year-old man who is currently in the hospital.<\/p>\n

By the way, the Russians attacked Zelenivka, Kherson region.<\/a> A 28-year-old woman was injured as a result of the shelling.<\/p>\n

The day before, it became known that Russian occupation forces attacked Kyiv with drones last night<\/a> . There is falling debris in one of the districts of the capital.<\/p>\n

Earlier , Russian occupiers struck infrastructure facilities in the Odessa region<\/a> . According to the State Emergency Service, buildings and vehicles were also damaged. The fire has now been extinguished.<\/p>\n
