The Russian Federation plans to launch up to 1,000 drones per day over Ukraine as early as 2026. Such plans indicate the Russian Federation’s intention to increase the intensity of hostilities and the production of shock weapons.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that the Ukrainian side does not see any signs of Russia’s preparation for peace talks or de-escalation of hostilities.<\/p>\n

According to him, on the contrary, there is an increase in the intensity of fighting, an increase in the number of enemy offensive groups, and an increase in the production of missiles and drones.<\/p>\n

Syrsky noted that the Russian Federation currently produces 404 Shahed drones of various modifications daily and has plans to further increase this figure.<\/p>\n

“On the contrary, we see an increase in the intensity of hostilities, an increase in the number of enemy offensive groups, an increase in the production of shock weapons, missiles, and drones. Currently, the enemy produces 404 “Shaheeds” of various types every day. And he has plans to increase it,” said the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

He clarified that the enemy’s ultimate goal is to use up to 1,000 drones per day, and emphasized the need to disrupt these plans.<\/p>\n

“The enemy plans to significantly increase production in order to use up to 1,000 drones per day. Therefore, of course, we must do everything to thwart these plans and inflict such losses on the enemy that he will abandon his active actions and create conditions for negotiations,” said Oleksandr Syrsky.<\/p>\n

Recall that on the night of January 18, air defense forces neutralized 167 drones<\/a> with which the Russian occupiers had been attacking Ukraine since Saturday evening.<\/p>\n

On the eve, President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Ukrainian energy workers and repair crews who are working around the clock to restore the power system after the Russian strikes. At the same time, he called on Western allies to increase support for Ukraine.<\/a><\/p>\n
