On Monday, January 19, 79 combat clashes were recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The most intense fighting continued in the Pokrovsky sector, where Russian troops carried out 28 assaults.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This was reported in the construction of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 16:00.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Throughout the day, border communities in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions suffered from artillery shelling. Specifically, the villages of Huta and Mykolaivka in Chernihiv region, as well as Volfin, Ryzhevka, Stukalovka, Budki, Golyshevske, Kucherovka, Vorozhba, and Progress in Sumy region, came under fire.<\/p>\n

In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out one air strike, dropping four guided aerial bombs, and also carried out 57 shelling attacks on Ukrainian troop positions and populated areas, four of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

In the South Slobozhansky direction, nine enemy attacks occurred in the areas of Prilepka, Vovchanskie Khutory, Krugly, Nesterny, Degtyarny, and in the direction of Izbitskoye. Four combat clashes are ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops attempted to break through the defense forces’ defenses three times near Stepnaya Novoselovka and toward Golubovka. Two of these engagements remain ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Limansky direction, the invaders carried out seven attacks in the areas of Novoselovka, Shandrigolovoe, Kolodtsy, and Zarechny. No fighting was reported in the Slavyansk direction.<\/p>\n

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian units repelled an enemy attack toward Privilegiya. In the Konstantinovka direction, the enemy launched ten assaults near Kleban-Byk, Yablonovka, Rusynyi Yar, and in the directions of Konstantinovka and Novopavlovka.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers attempted to push the Ukrainian defenders out of their positions in the areas of Nikanorovka, Rodynskoye, Myrnohrad, Kotlinoye, Udachny, Molodetskoye, Orekhovoye and in the direction of Filial.<\/p>\n

In the Aleksandrovsk sector, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy assaults in the areas of Verbovoye, Yegorovka, and Krasnogorskoye, with another battle ongoing. Podgavrilovka and Velikomikhailovka came under air strikes with guided bombs.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In the Hulyaipole direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 16 enemy attacks in the areas of Hulyaipole, Sladke, and in the directions of Dobropillya, Varvarovka, and Svyatopetrivka.<\/p>\n

No military clashes were recorded in the Orekhiv and Prydniprovsk areas as of the second half of the day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
