Over the past 24 hours, 165 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops have been recorded on the front. The enemy launched two missile and 91 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine, used two missiles and dropped 204 guided bombs, and also massively used kamikaze drones and artillery, shelling the positions of Ukrainian defenders and settlements more than four thousand times.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on January 20.<\/p>\n

According to updated information, yesterday the invaders carried out two missile and 91 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine, using two missiles and dropping 204 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they used 7,518 kamikaze drones to strike and carried out 4,124 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including 74 from multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

The aggressor carried out air strikes with guided bombs on populated areas, in particular the city of Kharkiv; Pidhavrylivka, Velykymykhaylivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region; Kostyantynivka in the Donetsk region; Ternuvaty, Charivne, Zelena Dibrova, Barvinivka, Tersyanka, Rizdvyanka in the Zaporizhia region.<\/p>\n

Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery have struck eight areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, two artillery systems, and two enemy command posts.<\/p>\n

In the North Slobozhansk<\/strong> and Kursk<\/strong> directions last day, the enemy carried out an air strike, dropping four anti-aircraft missiles and carrying out 90 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including four from multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

In the South Slobozhansky<\/strong> direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units 11 times near Starytsia, Prylipka, Vovchanskiye Khutory, Kruhly, Nesterny, Degtyarny, and towards Izbitsky.<\/p>\n

In the Kupyansk<\/strong> direction, there were three attacks by the invaders in a day. The defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault actions in the area of Stepovaya Novoselivka and towards the settlement of Holubivka.<\/p>\n

In the Lyman<\/strong> direction, the enemy attacked nine times, trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Novoyehorivka, Novoselivka, Shandryholove, Kolodyazi, and Zarichne.<\/p>\n

In the Slavyansk<\/strong> direction, in the Dronivka area and towards Platonovka, the enemy attacked the positions of our troops five times.<\/p>\n

In the Kramatorsk<\/strong> direction, Ukrainian units repelled two enemy attacks in the direction of Pryvillye and Bondarne.<\/p>\n

In the Kostyantynivka<\/strong> direction, the enemy carried out 15 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kleban-Byk, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar and towards Kostyantynivka and Novopavlivka.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsk<\/strong> direction, our defenders stopped 44 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Horikhove and towards Filia.<\/p>\n

In the Oleksandrivka<\/strong> direction, the enemy attacked our positions five times in the areas of the settlements of Verbove, Yehorivka, and Krasnohirske.<\/p>\n

In the Hulyaipil<\/strong> direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 20 times in the areas of Hulyaipil, Solodke, and towards Dobropil, Varvarivka, and Svyatopetrivka.<\/p>\n

No clashes were recorded in the Orikhiv<\/strong> direction over the past day.<\/p>\n

On the Dnieper<\/strong> direction, the invaders once unsuccessfully tried to improve their position in the area of the Antoniv Bridge.<\/p>\n

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn<\/strong> and Polissya<\/strong> directions.<\/p>\n
