Funds have begun to be deposited for the leader of the Batkivshchyna party, Yulia Tymoshenko, for whom the court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of bail. As of the morning of January 20, more than a third of the specified amount has been paid.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> “Ukrainska Pravda” with reference to sources in law enforcement agencies.<\/p>\n

According to sources, a total of UAH 13.65 million was contributed. Of this amount, UAH 5 million was paid by Serhiy Rabchuk, and another UAH 8.65 million by Oksana Fetisova. Both are connected to one of the main sponsors of “Batkivshchyna”, People’s Deputy Kostyantyn Bondarev.<\/p>\n

Serhiy Rabchuk previously headed the Veles Bank, which was liquidated in 2020. The beneficial owner of the bank was Konstantin Bondarev. Rabchuk and Bondarev are also co-owners of the Kind Heart of the Fatherland charity foundation.<\/p>\n

Oksana Fetisova is the founder and former director of TD Bondarev LLC, the ultimate beneficial owner of which is also Konstantin Bondarev.<\/p>\n

The office of the High Anti-Corruption Court did not provide prompt confirmation of information regarding the bail and advised to submit a written request.<\/p>\n

Yulia Tymoshenko’s lawyer Mykola Tytarenko also did not confirm or deny the data on the deposit of funds.<\/p>\n

As previously reported, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court has chosen a preventive measure for the head of the Batkivshchyna faction, Yulia Tymoshenko.<\/a> The court set bail in the amount of over 33 million hryvnias and imposed a number of procedural obligations on her.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, NABU and SAPO reported suspicions<\/a> to MP, head of the Batkivshchyna faction Yulia Tymoshenko. The investigation covers the facts of bribes being given to parliamentarians for supporting or blocking certain initiatives in the session hall. The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine also published audio recordings<\/a> in the case of an alleged offer of an illegal benefit to MPs.<\/p>\n
