Over the past day, the intensity of fighting on the front remained extremely high: Russian troops carried out 110 combat engagements, massively using missiles, aircraft, guided bombs, and thousands of kamikaze drones against positions of the Defense Forces and populated areas of Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on January 21.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, the enemy launched 5 missile and 74 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, used 39 missiles and dropped 184 guided bombs. In addition, 7,754 kamikaze drones were used to strike and 3,814 attacks were carried out on the positions of our troops and settlements, of which 44 were from multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Bilopillya in the Sumy region; Velykymykhaylivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region; Hulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Luhivske, Vozdvyzhenka, Hirke, Hulyaipilske, Svyatopetrivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Barvinivka, Rizdvyanka in the Zaporizhia region.<\/p>\n

Aviation and missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck six personnel concentration areas and one UAV control point.<\/p>\n

In the North-Slobozhansk<\/strong> and Kursk<\/strong> directions over the past day, the enemy carried out 82 attacks.<\/p>\n

In the South Slobozhansk<\/strong> direction, our troops stopped 11 enemy attacks, in the Vovchansk area and towards the settlements of Izbitske, Grafske, Krugle, Nesterne, and Chuhunivka.<\/p>\n

Three attacks by the invaders took place in the Kupyansk<\/strong> direction yesterday. Our defenders repelled the enemy’s assault actions towards Peshchanye and Petropavlivka.<\/p>\n

In the Lyman<\/strong> direction, the enemy attacked 11 times, trying to penetrate our defenses towards the settlements of Tverdokhlibovoe, Stavky, Dibrova, and Olhivka.<\/p>\n

In the Slavyansk<\/strong> direction, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks in the Dronivka area.<\/p>\n

In the Kramatorsk<\/strong> direction, Ukrainian units repelled one enemy attack in the direction of Bondarne.<\/p>\n

In the Kostyantynivka<\/strong> direction, the enemy carried out 14 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Predtechyne, Ivanopillya, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka and towards Illinivka, Stepanivka, Berestok, Novopavlivka, Sofiivka.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsky<\/strong> direction, our defenders stopped 36 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Chervonyi Liman, Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiya, Dachne towards Novopavlivka.<\/p>\n

In the Oleksandrivka<\/strong> direction, the enemy yesterday carried out one attack in the direction of Novy Zaporizhzhia.<\/p>\n

In the Hulyaipil<\/strong> direction, the Defense Forces repelled nine Russian attacks in the Hulyaipil area and in the Dobropil and Zeleny directions.<\/p>\n

In the Orikhiv<\/strong> direction, two clashes occurred in the Stepnohirsk and Primorsk regions.<\/p>\n

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Dnieper<\/strong> direction.<\/p>\n

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn<\/strong> and Polissya<\/strong> directions.<\/p>\n
