The fifth president and current People’s Deputy Petro Poroshenko handed over 10 washing and shower complexes to the units of the Defense Forces.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In total, since the beginning of the project in 2022, the Poroshenko Foundation and volunteers from the NGO “Community Affairs” have produced 321 complexes for the military.<\/span><\/p>\n

Washing and shower complexes are made on the basis of 20-foot containers, which are mounted on trailers. \u201cTitan\u201d quickly heats not only water, but also the room. Water is heated by wood, there is also a 7.5 kW generator. The pumping station creates a pressure of 3 atmospheres, 4 shower points are equipped with economical taps for water supply. There are also 2 washing machines and 2 dryers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Washing and shower complexes at the front are a real luxury, especially in winter, say the military. The famous Ukrainian mountaineer Anastasia Skrypchenko, who currently represents the Second Separate Medical Battalion of the 12th Army Corps, says: \u201cWe are performing tasks in Kupyansk. Our medics are in headquarters, in hospitals, in difficult conditions. At the moment when they go on rotations, cleanliness, washing is a very urgent issue for them. The conditions in the zone where we perform tasks are practically non-existent. These are all field conditions. Therefore, this complex will be a very important support and assistance for us, because we really work in difficult conditions.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\t

\u201cToday is a very, very important day for me. The day of the symbol of our resistance. In 2022, we launched projects for the supply of washing and shower complexes. This program alone provides for almost 300 million hryvnias. And this is not budget money,\u201d Petro Poroshenko noted.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We are being attacked by the inhuman, the devil, the devil Putin, who is attacking civilian energy infrastructure facilities. I want to tell you that we are helping not only the army. The enterprises that fall under my responsibility have, as of today, installed 100 megawatts of balancing capacity over the past year. 50 of them are gas compressor stations, 5 are solar panels, and 45 are generator capacities. All this cost the enterprises of the concern 65 million dollars without a single penny of budget funds,” the fifth President said.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Petro Oleksiyovych and the Poroshenko Foundation, as well as the NGO “Community Affairs” help to make our conditions better. This is how we feel that the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in general, the Defense Forces of Ukraine, are one family in which the entire Ukrainian society is involved in helping and caring for each other,” the military summarizes.<\/span><\/p>\n
