In some regions\u2014particularly Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk\u2014electricity will be cut for up to <strong data-start=\"548\" data-end=\"569\">18\u201320 hours a day<\/strong>, although just yesterday some areas were without power for <strong data-start=\"629\" data-end=\"641\">35 hours<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"646\" data-end=\"742\">Under these conditions, businesses are operating at the <strong data-start=\"702\" data-end=\"739\">limits of their physical capacity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\t\t<aside class=\"shortcode-also\" data-title=\"Read also\" >\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/operation-liquidation-of-the-middle-class-why-is-the-government-implementing-tax-terror\/\">Operation \u201cSqueeze the Middle Class\u201d: How Governments Perfected Tax Extortion<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n\n<p data-start=\"128\" data-end=\"275\">At the same time, VAT payers are required to register tax invoices within the established deadlines, and fines are imposed for late registration.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"277\" data-end=\"409\">But how can businesses comply with this requirement when there is no electricity or Internet connection, including from providers?<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"411\" data-end=\"521\">This is an objective impossibility of fulfilling a tax obligation, not a violation for the payer.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"523\" data-end=\"685\">Therefore, I call for <strong data-start=\"545\" data-end=\"582\">urgent amendments to the Tax Code<\/strong> to cancel fines for late registration of tax invoices during periods of unstable electricity supply.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"687\" data-end=\"789\">Otherwise, the state is effectively punishing businesses for blackouts over which it has no control.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"791\" data-end=\"868\"><em data-start=\"791\" data-end=\"866\">P.S.
