Volunteer Serhiy Sternenko became an advisor to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine on increasing the use of unmanned aerial vehicles at the front.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to him, Sternenko recently had a conversation with the President of Ukraine, after which the parties agreed to deepen cooperation in the development and use of drone units.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Fedorov noted that Sternenko’s experience will help implement a shared vision for increasing the effectiveness of UAVs on the battlefield. Key areas of work include basic support for drone units and systematization of supplies so that the military receives effective weapons without delay.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Defense is focusing on analytics and improving performance. According to the data provided, currently about 50 units out of over 400 provide approximately 70% of all enemy damage.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The goal of the cooperation is to help other units quickly build capabilities through additional training, analysis of operations, and exchange of experience, taking into account data from the front and feedback from the military.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Ukraine plans to eliminate about 50,000 Russian soldiers each month. According to Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov, this is one of the strategic goals.<\/a><\/p>\n

As a reminder, the Minister of Defense stated that a large-scale transformation of the unmanned sector is underway in Ukraine<\/a> : the state is preparing its own alternative to Chinese Mavic drones, launching a digital Mission Control system, and forming special units to destroy enemy UAV operators.<\/p>\n
