In Kyiv, a utility worker filed a police report of a beating during work to restore heat supply.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to law enforcement, a 53-year-old housing department employee reported to the Pechersk police department that a verbal conflict arose between him and a resident of the building during renovation work, during which the 62-year-old man struck him.<\/p>\n

Police have already interviewed the participants and witnesses of the incident and are conducting an investigation to establish all the circumstances of the incident. A criminal case has been opened for the assault under Part 1 of Article 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine\u2014intentional minor bodily injury.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The victim was referred for a forensic medical examination to determine the severity of his injuries. The utility worker is currently hospitalized, and the pre-trial investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n

As is known, Ukraine’s energy system is facing challenging conditions due to intense Russian shelling and the worst winter in 20 years. Due to the energy emergency, the government has developed a set of measures<\/a> to address its consequences.<\/p>\n
