The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has announced the launch of a digital Mission Control system for managing drone operations in combat conditions. The project involves unifying all drone missions into a single system within the DELTA combat ecosystem.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the Ministry of Defense.<\/p>\n

The department noted that modern warfare is technological in nature, and existing digital tools already allow tracking the performance of drone missions, their intensity, and the contribution of each crew. At the same time, a decision was made to launch a new control system to increase the effectiveness of combat operations.<\/p>\n

Mission Control involves each crew entering information about the type of drone, launch point, route, and mission into the system. The data will be generated automatically based on the crews’ actual work without the use of paper reporting.<\/p>\n

“We are unifying all drone operations into a single digital system \u2014 launching the Mission Control project,” the Ministry of Defense said.<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Defense emphasized that thanks to the system, commanders will for the first time receive a complete picture of the performance of combat missions in real time without manual summaries and additional bureaucracy.<\/p>\n

“We are eliminating the paper army, which takes time and focus from the military. All data is generated automatically based on the real work of the crews,” the department noted.<\/p>\n

It is also reported that the next stage will be the launch of a similar control system for artillery. In the future, the system will allow obtaining complete information about drone crews, commanders, monthly ratings and statistics of the entire corps.<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Defense added that the implementation of Mission Control should accelerate the adoption of management decisions based on accurate data, rather than manual analysis.<\/p>\n

“We are moving from fragmented data to a controlled, technological war, where decisions are made based on numbers,” the Ministry of Defense said.<\/p>\n

Recall that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine has already reached the level of production of about a thousand interceptor drones per day to counter Russian attacks<\/a> . At the same time, the number of drones produced exceeds the existing capabilities of mobile fire groups that can use them.<\/p>\n
