Last night, Russia committed another act of terror against civilian cities and towns in Ukraine, particularly the capital and the Kyiv region. Energy facilities were again targeted, crippling Ukraine’s energy sector and economy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During this attack, residential areas and houses were damaged, and strikes were also carried out on enterprises that produce consumer goods and have no connection to the defense sector.<\/p>\n

In particular, a direct hit from a suicide bomber damaged the production facilities of the Roshen confectionery factory, which is one of the largest taxpayers in Kyiv and also one of the main philanthropists in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, the attack caused more than just damage to the production facilities. A woman working in the confectionery shop was killed. Many others were injured and are currently hospitalized.<\/p>\n

European Solidarity expresses its sincere condolences to all the families affected today.<\/p>\n

Russia is committing genocide against civilians and must be punished. Our task is to hold the Russian Federation accountable for war crimes.<\/p>\n

Today, the entire world has once again witnessed Putin’s “peace plan.” Moscow is not ready for peace. We call for strengthening the counter-attack against the aggressor state. <\/p>\n

Also on the night of January 24, Russian troops attacked<\/a> Kyiv with drones. As of this morning, one person was reported dead and four injured.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that the Cabinet of Ministers introduced additional support programs for small and medium-sized businesses in the context of the energy emergency caused by Russian shelling.<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As a reminder, energy, utilities, and transport infrastructure workers involved in emergency recovery efforts will receive an additional 20,000 hryvnias in salary from the state.<\/a> <\/p>\n
