On January 24, 127 combat clashes were recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The most intense fighting continued in the Pokrovsk sector, where the Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped 44 assault and offensive actions by Russian troops.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this as of 8:00.<\/p>\n

According to updated data, over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched three missile strikes and 95 airstrikes on Ukrainian territory. The invaders used 25 missiles, dropped 248 guided bombs, deployed 7,503 kamikaze drones, and carried out 3,720 shelling attacks on Ukrainian troop positions and populated areas, including 112 from multiple launch rocket systems.<\/p>\n

The settlements of Zornitsa, Zheleznodorozhnoye, Verkhnyaya Tersa, Lyubitske, Vozdvizhovka and Preobrazhenka in the Zaporizhzhia region were hit by air strikes with guided bombs.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In response, missile troops and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck five enemy concentration areas over the past 24 hours.<\/p>\n

In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out two airstrikes, dropped seven guided bombs and carried out 107 shellings, two of which were from MLRS.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces six times in the areas of Staritsa, Volchanskie Khutors, Figolovka and in the direction of Krugly and Chugunovka.<\/p>\n

In the Kupyansk direction, two attacks were recorded, which Ukrainian troops repelled near Peschanoye and in the direction of Kurilovka.
In the Liman direction, the enemy attempted to advance six times in the areas of Drobyshevo, Zarechny, Torskoye and in the direction of Druzhelyubovka.
In the Slavyansk direction, one attack occurred near Zvanovka, and in Kramatorsk, two combat contacts occurred in the areas of Orekhovo-Vasilovka and Markovo.<\/p>\n

In the Konstantinovka direction, the enemy carried out 13 attacks in the areas of Konstantinovka, Kleban-Byk, Pleshcheyevka, Shcherbinovka, Yablonovka, Rusiny Yar, Sofiyivka and in the direction of Stepanovka and Novopavlovka.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 44 assaults in the areas of Pokrovsk, Mirnograd, Rodinsky, Kotlin, Udachny, Molodetsky, Filial and in the direction of Belitsky, Dorozhny, Shevchenko, Grishiny and Ivanovka.<\/p>\n

In the Aleksandrovsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Zelenaya Roshcha and Soglasie four times.
In the Gulyai-Polye direction, the enemy attempted to break through the defenses 16 times in the areas of Gulyai-Polye, Mirny, and in the direction of Svyatopetrivka, Novoye Zaporizhzhya, Dobropolye, Zelenoye, Varvarovka, and Zheleznodorozhny.
In the Orekhiv area, Ukrainian troops repelled two attacks near Plavni and Primorskoye.<\/p>\n

The enemy made one unsuccessful offensive attempt in the Dnieper sector. Meanwhile, no signs of enemy offensive groupings were detected in the Volyn and Polesie sectors.<\/p>\n
