A 24-year-old taxi driver will appear in court in Kyiv after beating his female passenger during a conflict. The attack left the woman with a broken jaw, and the accused faces up to 3 years in prison.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by<\/a> the Kyiv police.<\/p>\n

Law enforcement officers determined that during the trip, a 27-year-old Kyiv woman felt sick, causing her to dirty the car interior. The driver reacted aggressively and kicked the passenger out of the car.<\/p>\n

The man then punched the woman twice in the face and left the scene. Doctors diagnosed the victim with a concussion and a fractured jaw.<\/p>\n

The officers quickly identified the attacker as a 24-year-old resident of Kyiv who worked as a taxi driver.<\/p>\n

Investigators of the Dnipro Police Department informed the man of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 122 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – intentional bodily harm of moderate severity.<\/p>\n

The pre-trial investigation has now been completed, and the indictment has been sent to court. The accused faces up to 3 years in prison for the crime.<\/p>\n
