Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced new trilateral meetings on ending the war in Ukraine with the participation of representatives of the United States and Russia, which are scheduled to take place this week.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Zelenskyy informed that he had met with members of the Ukrainian delegation, which recently returned from trilateral talks in the United Arab Emirates with the participation of the American and Russian sides.<\/p>\n

According to the president, this format was the first trilateral dialogue on ending the war in a long time.<\/p>\n

“At the meetings, we discussed a range of important issues, primarily military ones, which are needed to end the war. We also talked about complex political issues that have not yet been resolved. We analyzed the key positions of the parties,” Zelenskyy noted.<\/p>\n

He also reported that, following the discussions, the Ukrainian side defined the framework for further diplomatic work.<\/p>\n

“We are preparing for new trilateral meetings this week,” the president concluded.<\/p>\n

As previously reported, representatives of Ukraine and the United States held talks in Abu Dhabi regarding the possible deployment of a peacekeeping mission in the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk region.<\/a><\/p>\n
