Ukraine’s air defense forces have neutralized 135 of the 165 drones that the Russians have used to attack the country since Monday evening.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The attack began at 18:00 on January 26. The enemy used strike drones of various types, including Shahed (approximately 100 units), Gerbera, Italmas, and others. The attack was carried out from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), as well as from the temporarily occupied Crimea – Gvardiyskyi and Chaudy.<\/p>\n

To repel the air attack, aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, anti-drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces were involved.<\/p>\n

According to preliminary information, as of 08:00 on January 27, Ukraine’s air defenses shot down or suppressed 135 UAVs throughout the country – in the north, south, center, and east.<\/p>\n

Direct hits of 24 strike drones were recorded in 14 locations. In addition, debris from downed UAVs fell in nine other areas.<\/p>\n

The attack continues: several enemy drones still remain in the airspace, and defense forces continue to repel them.<\/p>\n
