Fierce gun battles with Russian troops are ongoing in the center of Myrnograd.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The enemy is increasing pressure on the northern part of the city, while simultaneously accumulating heavy equipment in the Novogrodivka area for a possible assault on the upper part of Myrnograd.<\/p>\n

Paratroopers of the 7th Corps, together with units of the 1st Corps of the Azov National Guard, are blocking the enemy’s advance along the line “eastern outskirts of Myrnograd – Krasny Liman – Rodynske.”<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsky direction, the main enemy efforts are focused on capturing Grishino. The Russians, taking advantage of difficult weather conditions, are accumulating light equipment and personnel in the industrial zone in the north-west of the city and are trying to advance along several routes. Recently, a group of Russians managed to infiltrate Grishino, but the Defense Forces destroyed it.<\/p>\n

In the area of responsibility of the 7th Corps of the Ukrainian Air Force, the enemy’s use of various types of UAVs has significantly intensified. The Russians are more often launching “Lightnings” – drone-mothers carrying two FPV drones on board, delivering a triple strike. The use of fiber-optic drones has been recorded, penetrating more than 20 km deep into the Ukrainian defense.<\/p>\n

In addition, the number of strikes by enemy tactical aircraft is increasing. Over the past week, about 360 aerial bombs were dropped on the Pokrovskaya agglomeration \u2014 20% more than in the previous week.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, stated that Russian troops are intensifying attempts to break through the defense of Ukrainian units in the Pokrov direction in the Donetsk region.<\/a><\/p>\n
