Russian troops attacked the Barvinkove – Lviv – Chop passenger train in the Kharkiv region with drones.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was announced<\/a> by Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba.<\/p>\n

According to him, the enemy used three Shahed drones. The hits were recorded in front of the locomotive and directly into the passenger car, which caused a fire.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

There were 291 passengers on board the train. People were quickly evacuated. As of now, two injured people are known – they were taken out by the train crew and handed over to the medics. Both were hospitalized.<\/p>\n

Kuleba stressed that the attack on the passenger train was a direct act of Russian terror against the civilian population and had no military purpose.<\/p>\n

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, clarified<\/a> that the train came under enemy fire in the Barvinkivska community.<\/p>\n

All emergency services are on site. Buses are being organized for passengers for further transportation.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that Russian troops launched a drone and missile strike on Kharkiv<\/a> . The Industrial District of the city was under fire, and there were casualties.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of January 27, Russian troops carried out another attack with drones on southern Ukraine. Odessa and the Odessa region came under fire.<\/a><\/p>\n
