Milan is investigating the death of Ukrainian ex-banker Oleksandr Adarich, who died after falling from a hotel window.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by<\/a> the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.<\/p>\n

According to journalists, the incident occurred last Friday. The 54-year-old businessman fell from a height of about 15 meters. Investigators do not rule out that Adarich could have been thrown out of the window after his death.<\/p>\n

Police are retracing the deceased’s movements in Milan and are trying to identify the people who were with him in the room before the tragedy. According to the publication, the concierge saw an unknown man on the balcony immediately after the fall. A few seconds later, he went down into the courtyard, asked in English “What happened?” and disappeared.<\/p>\n

The investigation is examining the number of people who were at the scene before Adaric’s death. It is currently being determined whether their influence was the cause of the fatal fall.<\/p>\n

Italian law enforcement officers have located the deceased’s wife, but she did not provide any further details. It is known that Adaric arrived in Milan in the morning and planned to leave the city that evening.<\/p>\n

According to Corriere della Sera, Oleksandr Adarich had dual citizenship – Ukrainian and Romanian. In Ukraine, he was known as the former chairman of the board of Ukrsibbank and the ex-owner of Fidobank. From 2012 to 2020, Adarich controlled Fidobank, created after the acquisition of the Ukrainian “subsidiary” of a Swedish banking group. <\/p>\n
