In a number of regions, the air temperature may drop to -30.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meteo.gov.ua\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was reported by<\/a> the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.<\/p>\n<p> Forecaster of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center Ivan Semilyt reported that after a short thaw, a cold wave will hit the country again, which will last until early February. According to him, the frosts will be Arctic in some places.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cIn some places, the thermometer will drop to -30,\u201d said Ivan Semilyt.<\/p>\n<p> He noted that on January 31, weather conditions in Ukraine will be formed under the influence of the confrontation of a southern warm cyclone with a center over the Azov Sea and a cold anticyclone, the center of which is located over Finland. Because of this, dry weather with moderate frost is forecast in the western and northern regions, as well as in Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions.<\/p>\n<p> At the same time, the influence of a cyclone with atmospheric fronts will persist in the remaining regions, which will cause snow with rain in the southeast of the country. In the southern regions and in the Dnipropetrovsk region, ice formation and wet snow accumulation are possible. Ivan Semilyt also informed about the temperature indicators at the end of January.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;On January 31, in the western and northern regions, as well as in Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions, the temperature at night will drop to -12 &#8211; -17, and during the day it will be -9 &#8211; -14,&#8221; said Ivan Semilyt.<\/p>\n<p> According to him, in Transcarpathia the temperature will stay near 0, while in other regions it is expected to be from -5 to -10, and in the Azov region, Luhansk region and Crimea &#8211; from -3 to +3.<\/p>\n<p> On Sunday, <strong>February 1<\/strong> , further frosts are expected in Ukraine. In most regions, the temperature will drop to -20 &#8211; -25 degrees at night, and during the day it will be -13 &#8211; -18 degrees. At the same time, in the South, as well as in Dnipropetrovsk, Luhansk and Donetsk regions, -12 &#8211; -17 degrees at night and -8 &#8211; -13 degrees of frost are predicted during the day. In Crimea and Transcarpathia, during the day on February 1, forecasters predict milder temperature indicators &#8211; from 0 to -8 degrees.<\/p>\n<p> The most noticeable cold snap is expected <strong>on February 2.<\/strong> According to weather forecasters, the frosts will intensify even more: at night the air temperature will drop to -20 &#8211; -25 degrees, and during the day &#8211; to -15 &#8211; -20. In the North, as well as in the Poltava and Kharkiv regions, a drop in temperature to -30 degrees is possible in places. In the South and in the Donetsk region, at night on February 2, -16 &#8211; -21 degrees are predicted, during the day &#8211; -8 &#8211; -13 degrees. The mildest temperature indicators will remain in Crimea and Transcarpathia, where -6 &#8211; -11 degrees are expected at night and -1 &#8211; -6 degrees during the day.<\/p>\n<p> Forecasters warn that such weather conditions correspond to the third, red level of danger due to extremely low temperatures.<\/p>\n<p> In addition, according to preliminary forecasts, severe frosts will persist throughout Ukraine <strong>on February 3 and 4.<\/strong> At night, the temperature will be 21-27 degrees below zero, and in the North, as well as in the Poltava and Kharkiv regions, a drop to -30 degrees is possible in places.
