In a trove of nearly 3 million pages of documents related to financier Jeffrey Epstein, US President Donald Trump’s name is mentioned more than 38,000 times in over 5,300 files. However, the materials contain no evidence of possible wrongdoing on his part.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by The New York Times<\/a> , which analyzed the released documents. The publication notes that a significant number of references are related to Trump’s close relationship with Epstein until the early 2000s.<\/p>\n

The US President himself denies any involvement in illegal activities related to Epstein. US Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche expressed a similar position, emphasizing that the materials do not support an investigation into Trump.<\/p>\n

According to the NYT, the so-called “Epstein files” contain thousands of references not only to Donald Trump but also to his wife Melania and the Mar-a-Lago club in Florida. Most of the documents are media reports and publicly available emails from Epstein.<\/p>\n

The released files also show that Epstein had been monitoring Trump’s life for a long time after his entry into big politics and tried to use it to his own advantage.<\/p>\n

The documents also contain notes and transcripts of investigators’ interviews with the victims. Some of them mention contacts with Trump during meetings at Mar-a-Lago or with Epstein’s circle, but do not allege any misconduct on the part of the current US president.<\/p>\n
