Ukraine has recognized the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Head of State noted that formal procedures regarding a similar decision are currently underway in the European Union, but for Ukraine this issue is already closed.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“We in Ukraine have already made such a decision and have already designated this organization as a terrorist organization. For us, this issue is closed. All terrorists in the world deserve the same treatment and condemnation – no one should win,” Zelenskyy emphasized.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The President also emphasized that Ukraine will not forget the Iranian regime’s participation in the war against our state, in particular through the supply of kamikaze drones.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

“Ukraine will not forget any of the thousands of Iranian “Shaheeds” who strike at our cities and villages, at our people,” he said.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Zelensky added that Ukraine supports peoples who value freedom, and the world sees the scale of violence and repression carried out by the Iranian regime both inside the country and abroad.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As previously reported, the Council of Europe imposed sanctions against Iran for supporting Russia in the war against Ukraine and violating human rights within the country.<\/a><\/p>\n

As a reminder, one of the screenwriters of the Oscar-nominated Iranian drama “It Was Just an Accident,” Mehdi Mahmudian, was detained in Tehran.<\/a><\/p>\n
